Hannah made a skirt, pretty much all by herself. I was impressed, not just with the skirt (which is a fun cute
girly twirly thing) but with her new interest in sewing. On Saturday afternoon, before her sisters came home, we made a trip to
Fabric Land to stock up on supplies andwe also grabbed a few new patterns to try.
Today I cleaned out and organized the sewing/music room, sorting fabrics and patterns and tidying up the craft
cupboard. There is a quote from a book I read once (can't recall which one exactly) where the author states that there is a certain kind of happiness that comes from rendering clean a once untidy room. Just a simple thought but I have to agree now that I've finished. I feel a certain sense of satisfaction and I'm ready for the next new project.
